The second feed line is financed through contributions

The Zellinger utilities invested almost 630,000 euros in a second feed line to improve the water supply. The 1125 meter long pipeline was built last year between the “Zellingen II” delivery shaft of the Würzburg drinking water supply and the transfer point to the Zellingen local network in the area where the “Am braunen See” (industrial area) joins Würzburger Strasse. As early as August 1, 2017, the municipal council decided to finance the costs entirely through improvement contributions. For this, the committee has now decided on the corresponding statutes.

The owners of built-up or buildable properties in Zellingen and Retzbach will now receive improvement contributions of 14 cents per square meter of property and 43 cents per square meter of floor space, plus the respective statutory value-added tax. This is regulated in the new contribution statutes for the improvement and renewal of the water supply facility of the Zellingen market for the two districts.

At the same time, the previous contribution and fee statute for the water tax statute had to be changed. Here the contributions increase by the stated amounts, thus to a net 1.16 euros per square meter of property and 3.52 euros per square meter of floor space. This applies to new buildings built in the future as well as to extensions and extensions, for example attics.

Nothing changes in the fresh water price (consumption fee). It remains at 2.24 euros per cubic meter, and the basic fees for the water meters remain unchanged.

Overall, the Zellingen store will not be able to collect the full 630,000 euros in construction costs in full in a timely manner. The future “Klinge” building area in Retzbach and the industrial area II Retzbach will account for around 50,000 euros in contributions. In addition, the market itself has to pay contributions for the property owned by the municipality. These do not represent real income.
