In the city of Tokmak, Zaporozhye region, an explosion occurred in a private house as a result of careless handling of gas – the 71-year-old owner is in intensive care with burns. About it informs region police on Tuesday 21 September.
“In the course of the carried out operational measures, law enforcement officers established that a 71-year-old resident of Tokmak city, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, carelessly handled a gas appliance, as a result of which he caused an explosion of a gas cylinder in an outbuilding on the territory of his household,” it was reported.
The man received 65% of body burns and injuries, he was immediately hospitalized in the intensive care unit. At the same time, around 20:00, rescuers continued to extinguish the fire.
“The previously adjoining houses are not damaged, there are no casualties,” added law enforcement officers.
Earlier in one of the Kharkov restaurants found the body of its owner… According to the preliminary version, the man shot himself, leaving a preliminary suicide note.
It was also reported that in the Odessa region the policeman hanged himself… Shortly before taking his own life, the man was evicted by the court from the house, which he acquired five years ago at an auction.
