For the second consecutive year, the Regional Hemodonation Center and the Association of Friends of Culture “Manuel Coronado” have launched a donation campaign that, with the motto ‘Donate blood for the love of art’, will take place this Tuesday 25 April at the Infanta Elena de Águilas Auditorium, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
With the collaboration of the Águilas City Council and the Murcian painter Pedro Cano, the association from Aguilas has made an appeal to the population to donate blood, giving each of the attendees a reproduction of a work made for this purpose along with a ticket for El Hornillo multiplexes and also entering the raffle for the original film.
The extractions will take place at the Infanta Doña Elena Auditorium and Conference Center and, although it is not necessary, it is recommended to request a prior appointment for organizational reasons at the link:
During the presentation press conference that took place this morning, the Hemodonation Center made an appeal in view of the alarming drop in donations. “Blood is vital to save lives – they have recalled – and in recent months we have registered a very significant reduction in donations in Águilas”. The only requirements to be a donor are to be between 18 and 65 years old, weigh more than 50 kilos, be in good health and not have had a tattoo in the last four months.
