Second EAGE Workshop on Geothermal Energy in Latin America receives PACE support. The Partnership and Cooperation in Earth Sciences (PACE) program funds selected EAGE events to support scientists in their active participation.

He Second EAGE Workshop on Geothermal Energy in Latin Americabeen selected to receive the program support for Partnership and Cooperation in Earth Sciences (PACE), funded by EAGE. This program supports individual geoscientists to actively participate in selected EAGE events and is available to accepted speakers who are unable to obtain financial support from other sources.

The topics to be discussed in the workshop include the development of geothermal deposits, geothermal modelling, operation of geothermal fields, among others. Those interested in participating can apply through the link provided before August 15, 2023. The selection results will be communicated to applicants in September 2023 by email.

It should be noted that the PACE Committee coordinates the program and that the support granted is limited only to the waiver of registration fees.
