The upcoming winter holidays inspire you to think not only about gifts for your dearest people, festive interior, but also to look for a Christmas symbol. More and more people want to enjoy a live Christmas tree – and they are looking for it in Lapiai. Here, in the verdant arboretum, like a conifer park, there are ordinary Lithuanian Christmas trees, but extremely well-groomed.
The first Christmas tree in Lithuania was lit this year on November 10. in one district of the capital – this was one of the most important commercial television news. This 12-meter green boat was shipped from Norway. The owner of the company, where she started to shine more than a month and a half before the holidays, hoped that she would not have any competitors either in cities or big cities. However, for the Christmas symbol of the city of Klaipėda, 17 trees were proposed, which were grown by the residents. The people of Klaipėda will be happy with a live fir tree.
Many people are also looking for natural Christmas trees to decorate their homes. In the village of Lapia, near the Mineikiai homestead, next to which there is a green fir tree like a conifer park, a sign announces the sale of Christmas symbols, they will also be sold in Klaipėda. The pandemic and quarantine have pushed e-commerce as well.
About 6,000 plants are green in the well-kept nursery of almost 2 hectares. Christmas trees: a large selection – from 0.5 to 3 meters high. Having planted ordinary Lithuanian forest fir trees 12 years ago, the Mineikis did not leave them to the will of fate – they carefully look after them, fertilize them, and protect them from pests. Their branches are shaped, dense, and their needles are lush. “It is possible to leave them unattended after planting, but then they would be poor,” said Virginija Mineikienė.
One buyer wrote on Facebook that the most beautiful fir trees in Lithuania grow here. Their breeders are pleased by people’s thanks and praise.
The spruce tree is arranged – you can take a walk as if in a conifer park. As the holidays are getting closer, photo sessions will take place here, as before, and Santa Claus will visit. “We invite families with children to visit, take a look, choose a real, forest-scented Christmas tree that will delight you long after the holidays“, assured the owner of the fir tree.
By the way, the price of beautiful Christmas trees is from 16 to 48 euros. Cunning resellers come here, ready to cut down well-kept trees for half the money.
