The Government delegate in the Canary Islands, Anselmo Pestana, has appeared this Tuesday at a press conference, in which he has given details about the search operation for Thomas Gimeno and his two daughters (Anna y Olivia), missing just a week ago.
Although Pestana has given little news, especially because the case is under summary secrecy, it has confirmed that the search has moved to the south of the island of Tenerife. They suspect that the currents have caused the displacement towards that area. In addition, the Government delegate has appealed to citizen collaboration to be able to find the whereabouts of the father and the little ones.
Test results
The blood found on the boat of the father of the missing girls in Tenerife is not one of the minors, but of their father Tomás Gimeno. According to sources close to the case, the samples sent to the Criminalistics Laboratory They have revealed that it is human blood, but, after comparing with the samples that are preserved from the two minors, six and one year old, the blood would correspond to his father Tomás Gimeno.
This new data makes host hopes that the little ones are alive, Although this Tuesday the search by land, sea and air will resume to try to locate the little ones.
