Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition’s urgent motion in Legislative Assembly in Life Mission corruption case. Minister of Local Affairs MB Rajesh said that the resolution is irrelevant. The same issue has already been brought up as an urgent resolution. The same topic cannot be brought as a theme more than once. The wine is old and the bottle is old only the person has changed. Life is fast on its way to completion. In response, MB Rajesh said that the urgent motion notice is the face of planned aggression.
Vadakancherry has an unparalleled dream-like project. Neither the Government nor Life Mission has any financial responsibility for the Vadakancheri housing complex. The contractors were found by the Red Crescent. MB Rajesh stated that Life Mission or the officers have no role in Unitac’s commission transaction.
The High Court itself has found that the government has no role in this. Vigilance is probing whether any officials were involved. Central agencies do not provide information for vigilance investigations. No officer has been found guilty of corruption in Life Mission. There is no need to stop the meeting and discuss on the basis of any hearsay. MB Rajesh alleged that an attempt is being made to destroy the Life Mission project.
Mathew Kuzhalnadan MLA asked whether it can be said that this transaction was done without the knowledge of the chief minister’s right and left. The chief minister’s right-hand man is now in jail. Does the Chief Minister have the right to deny Shiv Shankar’s WhatsApp message? Did the Chief Minister, Consulate General and Swapna meet at Cliff House? Mathew Kuzhalnadan accused Kerala of scientific and planned corruption. The ruling opposition staged a protest in the House during the emergency debate. Following the protest, the assembly was adjourned.
