Pedro Sánchez has given a speech in the Ukrainian parliament one year after the Russian invasion. He has been Mr. Handsome, an account dedicated to sharing content about the President of the Government, who has noticed what happened after the speech of the leader of the Spanish Executive.
The PSOE leader gave a speech to the Ukrainian parliamentarians and, when he finished speaking, he got off the rostrum and was applauded by all those present who, standing up, thanked the Prime Minister for his words.
Also, just when Sánchez is going to sit back in his chair, a man approaches him and asks for a selfie to which the president agrees. This scene has thousands of “likes” in a few hours and dozens of comments about what many consider “proud”.
“In a situation like this there can be no equidistances, we are committed to defending Ukraine against Putin’s illegal war. How important it would have been for Spain in the last century to have had international solidarity; we did not have it and now we want to be solidarity”, said Sánchez in a meeting with the press after having met with the Ukrainian president, Zelensky.
