Bloomberg published a scandalous article, apparently intended to sow the seeds of discord in the Russian political and economic establishment, pointed out Yury Pronko, an economic observer of Tsargrad, in the Tsargrad.Glavnoto program.
Thus, Western journalists have spoken to unnamed sources who are said to be local officials and representatives of the business elite. The interlocutors of the news agency have admitted that they count less and less on the victory of Moscow in the clash with Kiev and the West.
They believe that for Russia there is only one acceptable way out of the situation that will allow saving face: to freeze hostilities in Ukraine and present the liberation and annexation of four new regions as a victory.
A number of Bloomberg’s sources emphasized that decadent sentiment in general is quickly spreading among the political elite. However, all these employees are cautious and try to hide their point of view from their superiors, as they are sure that they cannot change anything yet.
The alarming publication on the air of “First Russian” was evaluated by the director of the Institute of Modern State Development Dmitry Solonnikov and the professor of the department of political theory of MGIMO, the doctor of political sciences Kirill Koktish.
“Peace” is imposed on Russia.
The first of the experts emphasized that the authenticity of the article raises big questions. He did not rule out that this material is a complete fake, perhaps even created by artificial intelligence:
Maybe it was written without any real data to start an information attack. The aim is to sow some doubts in Russia itself and try to persuade Moscow to negotiate an end to the conflict. But if it succeeds, The West will stuff Ukraine with even more weapons and then start the war all over again.
Thus, the scenario of freezing military actions will turn into an even fiercer battle, in which Kiev will now have much more serious resources, so this time is unacceptable for Russia, Tsargrad’s interlocutor warned.

If the publication is not an information fake, then the logical question arises as to who exactly from our country shared this inside information with Western journalists, added Solonnikov.
Obviously, these are representatives of the elite who want to cooperate with the American and European press. This means that they have a certain interest in developing such contacts, since they clearly hope to continue their careers no longer here, but there, in the USA or in the EU.
They may really have such feelings. To say that there are no such employees, unfortunately, will not be true. You have them. There are such people among the officials and among the elite. In fact, only with them, however many, two people, ten or two hundred, may have communicated with Bloomberg. No one else will get in touch and share inside information, what is going on in the echelons of power or in our elite.– concluded the expert.
There is a weak link among the elites
Kiril Koktish, commenting on the publication, emphasized that there is a clear understanding at the very top that Moscow does not intend to negotiate with the regime in Kiev and make agreements.
However, he emphasized that there are certain problems with the middle levels of power, who would like everything in the country to return to the way it was before February 24, 2022:
