Rhythmic gymnastics competitor Elvira Krasnobayeva, who announced that she will no longer play for Bulgaria, owes compensation to the Bulgarian federation. If he does not fulfill his obligation under the contract with the federation, it may even go to court.
This became clear from an official announcement signed by the president of the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation Iliana Raeva.
The 16-year-old gymnast was excluded from the national team and is already banned from visiting the national base in the Rakovski Hall.

BF Rhythmic Gymnastics informs you that after the expressed personal desire in writing of competitor Elvira Timofeeva Krasnobayeva not to compete for Bulgaria, citing family circumstances as the reason, confirmed in writing by her mother and legal representative Alexandra Chernisheva, the Board of BFHG made the following decision :
• Elvira Krasnobayeva to be released as a member of the National Assembly of Bulgaria, as of 01.10.2024.
• To be suspended from participating in the gala performance “Escaljim” Bilbao/Spain on behalf of Bulgaria
• The athlete Elvira Krasnobayeva is not allowed to use the national base “Rakovski” starting from 01.10.2024.
• In view of the work invested in her preparation for the next Olympic cycle, the competitor Elvira Krasnobayeva is deprived of the opportunity to use the music and compositions made so far
• In view of the finances invested in her development as a competitor to date, including monthly funds from the IMC and from a sponsor, equipment, music for routines, medication, manual and other types of recovery, sports camps, participation in IMC, premiums and awards from the IMC and BFHG, her monthly remunerations from the MMC and from the sponsor are terminated, starting from 01.10.2024.
Pursuant to Article 5.3 of contract No. BFHG-MMS-13 dated 02.01.2024, contestant Elvira Krasnobayeva owes compensation to BFHG due to unilateral, early termination of the contract by the contestant.
In the event that the decision of the Board of Directors of the BFHG is not followed (Decision No. 2, Minutes No. 381 of 30.09.-2024), the contestant Elvira Krasnobayeva may be held liable.
At the first legitimate meeting of the new Board of Directors of BFHG, after the regular reporting-election general meeting, which will be held on 07.10.2024, you will be notified of subsequent decisions on the case.
