According to the organizers of “Delfi”, outstanding jazz music artists from Latvia, Austria, Israel, France, Armenia, USA and other countries will step on the stage of the restored Saulkrasti city stage, but the main guest of the festival this year is the legendary guitarist and tap-technique creator Stanley Jordan ( Stenly Jordan) from the United States.

In addition to the aforementioned main guest of the festival and his “Stanley Jordan Quartet”, three evenings to “Saulkrasti Jazz Festivalmusicians such as Markus Gottschlich, an outstanding pianist, composer and Steinway artist will perform on stage. He will perform with a special guest, drummer Yogev Shetrit from Israel, one of the most active musicians in the Baltics Sooäär) with an international line-up, the talented French bass player SHOB, who also visited Saulkrasti in 2019, as well as the post-jazz group from Vienna “Sketchbook” .The festival will also feature artists from Latvia – funk / fusion group “FunCooLio”, one of Latvian jazz basic values ​​of music – Jelgava Big Band, Baltic Drummers League winner Mareks Logins, together with pianist and composer Anna Wibe and bassist from Moscow Anton Davidjants, as well as American flutist Ilona Kudiņa living in America with the project “Baltic Transit”.

“Saulkrasti Jazz Festival” will take place in an unusual format this year. Due to security reasons, the festival does not offer a master class camp for young musicians this year, thus the time of the festival itself has been shortened from the usual six days to three. The venue of the festival is also different this time – the renewed stage of the city of Saulkrasti, which has become available to event organizers and the public only at the beginning of this summer.
