The Saudi Royal Court mourns a young prince and tweeters publish his pictures

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Saudi Royal Court announced, on Thursday, the death of Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, while a number of princes and tweeters mourned him on Twitter, coinciding with the downing of a Saudi fighter plane in the Eastern Province.

The Royal Court statement said: “His Royal Highness Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has passed away to the mercy of God Almighty, and prayers will be prayed over him – God willing – tomorrow, Friday, 5/24/1445 AH, after the afternoon prayer at the Imam Mosque.” Turki bin Abdullah in Riyadh.

Prince Abdul Rahman bin Musaed previously wrote on his page on Twitter: “Oh God, forgive your servant Talal bin Abdulaziz bin Bandar and have mercy on him and accept him among the martyrs and make him dwell in your spacious paradise. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.”

Prince Khaled Al Saud published a tweet that included a picture of Prince Talal wearing a pilot’s uniform and wrote: “May God bless you with His vast mercy and forgiveness, my brother, the venerable Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz bin Bandar, and make amends for the affliction of your parents, sisters, and lovers, and the affliction of all of us with your painful loss, and we only say what pleases our Lord: (I To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.”

The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced the downing of an F-15SA fighter jet during a routine training mission over the eastern region, killing its crew.
