Deputy Foreign Minister Walid Al-Khereiji considered the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran a “major violation” of Iran’s sovereignty.
Al-Khereiji pointed out at a separate meeting of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in the first statement issued by the Kingdom since the killing of Haniyeh in the capital of Iran on July 31, that Saudi Arabia ‘ reject “any attack on the sovereignty of the country. states or interfere with the internal affairs of any state.”
