Member of the House of Representatives Commission VI, Andre Rosiade, considered this to be a dynamic in the appointment of Abdi Negara Nurdin or Abdee Slank as Telkom’s Commissioner.

“Usually, the dynamics of the pros and cons of the appointment of Abdee Slank. So there are pros and cons in the community, the cons of course yes ‘Bismillah commissioner’ is part of satire and that is certainly part of democracy. In a democracy, that is something reasonable and commonplace,” said Andre, Saturday (5/6/2021).

He considered this to be an input for the government in appointing people to fill positions in BUMN. The Gerindra politician said that the number of netizens who wrote ‘Bismillah komisaris’ showed the people’s concern for the fate of SOEs.

“Of course this is an input for the government in the future in appointing commissioners, they must prioritize competencies according to the field of commissioners of the company to be led. That’s normal, in a democratic country it’s normal,” he said.

Andre also emphasized that Commission VI, whose scope of work is BUMN, will oversee the performance of BUMN officials appointed by the government. He also hopes that people who are in the spotlight will perform well when serving as commissioners.

“The commissioners and directors who are highlighted must really show their performance. That’s the most important thing. Don’t even think you’ve been appointed, you’re a burden to the government. Remember, 6 months of poor performance, so get ready to face us in Commission VI. no doubt you know,” said Andre.
