On vaccination march in the provincial territory, Martorano commented: “We are very advanced in placing third doses. There is 42% of the population that received it and in the five large cities of the province (Rosario, Santa Fe, Reconquista, Rafaela and Venado Tuerto), everyone has been rotated.
There are some 500,000 people who received their shift but did not come because they got sick with Covid or are transiting it. You have to be vigilant because, for example, in those over 18 years of age, vaccination is released. So any person of that age who has spent four months of the disease can go to apply the third dose “.
Martorano recalled that shifts continue to be given to vaccinate those under 18 and that the placement of booster doses is being increased in that group. “Reinforcements are pending in the three to 11 year age range,” he said.
Regarding the continuity of the use of the chinstrap, the official highlighted: “We are going to enter winter wearing a chinstrap. We consider it the most prudent because, unlike previous years, we are going to see not only coronaviruses and influenza, but also other viruses that are already circulating. So At least until spring comes, we don’t even think about taking our masks off.”
