Sanremo, more restrictions until March 5th (in full Festival)
The same governor in recent days has signed the ordinance concerning the whole of Western Liguria. The block (which will not be a real red zone) concerns not only Sanremo but also Ventimiglia and the neighboring municipalities will last until March 5 (the Festival will end the next day). The decision was made “to prevent the border area from ferrying the wave of the virus from France to Italy”. “We have decided to take some measures to ensure that the incidence of covid is kept under control, which above all in Ventimiglia and neighboring municipalities raises some concern as it is double compared to the rest of Liguria – said Toti -. The ordinance will provide from Wednesday to Friday the total closure of schools of all levels in Ventimiglia and Sanremo. Only for Ventimiglia and neighboring municipalities will some measures come into force such as the ban on take-away, the ban on the sale of alcohol, the ban on gatherings, the ban on moving outside the Municipality . We believe that ten days of restrictive measures could cool the pandemic peak “, Toti concluded, reiterating that the Government has guaranteed” national refreshments for all damaged economic activities “
