At the large Rhine fair on Sunday (July 16, 2023), the focus will be on the Sankt Sebastianus Schützen. The Schützen are the official organizers of the Rheinkirmes.

Since Sunday morning, 8:30 a.m., the individual companies and battalions of the riflemen have already had a program. At 2:40 p.m., line up on Cecilienallee; then, from 3 p.m., there is the historic parade through the old town with several thousand participants. The parade will follow in the courtyard garden at around 4:15 p.m. Two hours later follows the departure from the Hofgarten in the direction of Oberkassel; the historic parade ends there around 7 p.m. on the fairground. Shooting chief Michael Zieren said that some shooters had signed out of the club during the corona pandemic; but now new ones have been added.
