– It feels great. We have long tried to make this transition – now I am happy that everything has gone through, and that I am here, says Baidoo to Elfsborg’s website.

In December 2020, the Ghanaian signed a permanent contract with Jerv after being loaned out from Danish Central Jutland. However, the 22-year-old did not manage to play any matches for the club after being bought by the southerners.-

BA: New goalkeeper in place in Bergen

ONE DAY AGAIN

Only five months later, he was sold on to Sandnes Ulf. Now – a little over half a year later – Baidoo travels on to Swedish football.

The transition has been in the air for a while, but on Thursday it was confirmed. On Tuesday afternoon, the 22-year-old arrived at his new club. He tells of a good first impression.-

– It’s like a family, I would say. The welcome has been fantastic and everyone is very nice, so I am happy, says Baidoo, who has signed an agreement for the 2025 season.

General manager in Sandnes Ulf. Tom Rune Espedal wishes the midfielder good luck:

– We thank Michael for his efforts in light blue and wish him lots of luck in Sweden. We are satisfied with the agreement and have had a good process with IF Elfsborg. This again shows that Sandnes Ulf is an attractive club for players to come to. If you develop properly, the big clubs follow. We look forward to following Baidoo’s development in the Allsvenskan and wish him luck, says Espedal.

Baidoo scored four goals and eight goalscorers in the 2021 season.
