The San Silvestre Coruña, which organizes the Rialto Club and in which it collaborates Radio Coruña and the Municipal Sports Service of A Coruña City Council, this year reaches its ninth edition. This year, the test will have a cap of 4,500 participants, which supposes 500 more places than in 2017. Another novelty, in addition to the increase in the number of athletes, is the age of participation, which is lowered to 11 years. Registration can be done through the website championchipnorte.com or sansilvestrecoruna.com. Children under 14 years of age will need to provide proof of their parents or guardians to sign up.
Deadline
The deadline for receipt of entries will be December 26, at 11:00 p.m., or the moment the 4,500 available numbers are exhausted and the cost of signing up will be 12 euros, which is reduced to 10 euros for those who own a chip. From each registration, 2.5 euros correspond to the concept of donation to cover all the expenses originated by the people who, acting as volunteers, will provide their information, organization and development services before, during and at the end of the degree.
Athletes who prove a mark equal to or less than 31 ‘in previous editions will have a preferred number and will be placed in the starting box A.
The race registration fee gives the right to participate in the race, a technical shirt, a personalized timing number-chip, accident and CR insurance, hydration at the finish line, a portion of Tahonas Debén roscón, time start, medical services in the race (start, route and finish line), appearance in the classifications, wardrobe, and download of the personal commemorative diploma of the event through the websites www.sansilvescoruna.com and www.championchipnorte.com.
The delivery of the number and shirt will take place on December 29 and 30 in uninterrupted hours from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., during runner’s fair to be held in the Emalcsa hall located in Termaria Casa del Agua. They can be picked up by a friend or relative or anyone accompanied by a document certifying the participant.
The IX San Silvestre is organized by Club Rialto, with the collaboration of the A Coruña City Council and with Turismo de A Coruña, Abanca, Cocacola, Radio Coruña, El Corte Inglés and La Opinion A Coruña as sponsors. No registration after that date will be accepted.
