SAN SEBASTIÁN, April 15. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Co-production Forum of the San Sebastián Festival, which reaches its thirteenth edition, opens, until June 17, the call to receive audiovisual projects from Europe and Latin America with a minimum duration of 60 minutes and at least 20% guaranteed financing . European projects must have an express link with Latin America.
The Europe-Latin America Co-production Forum, which takes place from September 23 to 25, consists of the presentation of the selected projects through a pre-recorded pitching and one-to-one meetings between those who produce and direct the film and potential partners.
The Forum coincides with the two ‘works in progress’ of the Festival, aimed at European (WIP Europe) and Latin American (WIP Latam) productions, and is a meeting point that fosters contacts and agreements between professionals in the film industry.
The selected projects compete for three awards: Best Project Award, DALE! Award! (Latin America-Europe Development) and ArteKino International Award. In addition, the projects selected in the Forum that meet the requirements will be able to participate in the next edition of the Producers Network of the Marché du Film-Festival de Cannes.
The Festival will select a maximum of 20 projects based on the reports prepared by three experts: the producer Agustina Chiarino and the programmers and members of the Festival Selection Committee Esperanza Luffiego and Javier Martín, who is also the delegate of San Sebastián for Latin America .
