● From September 26 to Sunday, October 20, the fairgrounds will open its doors to thousands of visitors.
Accompanied by the president of the Board of Trustees of the DIFH System, Edda Vite Ramos, the governor of the entity, Julio Menchaca Salazar, inaugurated the activities of the San Francisco Pachuca 2024 Fair, an opportunity in which he recalled that this celebration frames pride and tradition of being Hidalgo.
The state president pointed out that this event is an “excellent exhibition of what Hidalgo means, what Pachuca means, its traditions, its gastronomy,” after mentioning that the fair has transcended over time.
Menchaca Salazar highlighted that it can now be enjoyed through dignified and decent facilities, where you can live with your family, thanks to a significant investment, which is why he invited everyone to attend this celebration.
In addition, he announced that, next year, Hidalgo will once again host the Tianguis de Pueblos Mágicos, this as a sign of how much the state can offer the tourism sector.
Elizabeth Quintanar Gómez, in charge of tourism policies in the entity, highlighted that the San Francisco Pachuca Hidalgo 2024 Fair is the result of the coordinated work of all the state secretariats, which have participated so that the festival becomes one of the five best fairs throughout the country: “This is the fair that beats with pride!”, he stated.
For his part, the head of the Mayor’s Office, Orlando Ángeles Pérez, reported that for this year various spaces have been dignified for the benefit of those who visit this venue, such as the large dome of the Teatro del Pueblo, which has the capacity to receive to more than 50 thousand people.
When speaking, the general director of the Events Operator of the State of Hidalgo (OEEH), Marco Antonio Aranzábal Juárez, declared that in this edition of the traditional fair it brings together art, gastronomy, culture and different attractions to welcome the town of Hidalgo and Mexico.
He indicated that a program full of activities for all tastes has been prepared, because Hidalgo has everything to be a power: “We are working daily to have one of the best fairs in the republic,” he concluded.
According to official figures, the previous year the San Francisco Pachuca Fair had an economic impact of 185 million pesos and generated more than 3,500 jobs.
