The San Francisco neighborhood, in Ronda, is now ready to experience a new edition of its Royal Fair, an event that will start this Thursday and will last until October 6. This Friday the procession of San Francisco de Asís will take place through the area, after the mass, which will start at 8:00 p.m., in the Church of the Holy Spirit. The image will be enclosed in the Convent of the Franciscan Sisters.
During the Royal Fair, different activities have been scheduled. They will begin this Thursday with the lighting of the lights and this Friday, among others, the appointment of the queens and masters of this edition will take place. There will be a fair costume contest, rice, music, a tribute to a neighbor, a lunch for adults and a children’s party.
This year is also special for this neighborhood since it is celebrating the 450th anniversary of the founding of the Sisterhood of Santo Entierro, which has its headquarters there.
