A few days ago we heard about a new version of the Galaxy Buds that Samsung is likely to launch with its upcoming release Galaxy S21 phone in January. And now, thanks to the leak, we’re seeing for the first time Galaxy Buds Pro.
Pictures come super delicious thanks Evan Blass, who tweeted the official version of the rumored earplugs. In a next post, Blass summarizes data from previous reports on the Galaxy Buds Pro, which provides active noise cancellation, which is consistent with features found in popular AirPods Pro.
Previously, rumors indicated that the earbuds that Samsung is working on will be called upon Galaxy Buds Beyond. But a recent FCC filing confirmed the name Galaxy Buds Pro.

The leak from Blass indicates that the Galaxy Buds Pro will look like the real thing Galaxy Buds or Galaxy Buds Plus not a nut form Galaxy Buds Live launched in late summer. However, the matte finish around the tiny glossy panel of the Buds Plus seems to be left out for a glossy surface.
However, these aesthetic changes don’t quite flow to the earbud case, as the Galaxy Buds Pro 472mAh battery charger looks more like a Live model.
The leak from Blass also suggests that the new Galaxy Buds Pro can provide active noise cancellation, a feature the Galaxy Buds Plus doesn’t have. Since these earplugs slide into the ear, it might be better if this feature is useful. The Blass leak doesn’t provide more details on the additional specs to expect from the Buds Pro, so there’s not much information on what to do to upgrade previous versions of Samsung.
