Samsung unveiled the March Galaxy A23 4Gbut then there was no mention of the 5G version. Now the Dutch GalaxyClub reports that Samsung is indeed planning to launch the Galaxy A23 5G, which will be available in Europe as well.
The source does not reveal the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G, but it is certain that the Snapdragon 680 SoC, which runs on the Galaxy A23 4G, will not work with it, as it does not have a 5G modem. Most likely, some MediaTek chip (maybe the Dimensity 700) will drive the 5G version.
However, it is possible that the 5G model will have some common specifications with the 4G version, including a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 5,000 mAh battery.
It is not yet known exactly when the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G will be official and when it will be released in Europe, but it will most likely be one of the cheapest 5G phones that Samsung will launch in 2022.
