The Saltburn Psychological Thriller: A Controversial Hit on Amazon Prime

Everyone is talking about Saltburn: The psychological thriller doesn’t shy away from masturbation and murder – and opinions on the film vary widely.

Saltburn: Hype on Amazon Prime

“The film that everyone is talking about is now on Amazon Prime!” explains the Amazon trailer for Saltburn and even tells the truth: Because somehow everyone is really talking about Saltburn right now. The thriller has it all and not only shows a lot of naked skin, but also some scenes that are difficult to digest.

This is what Saltburn is all about: Oxford student Oliver Quick doesn’t really manage to settle in at the renowned English university. But then he meets the charismatic Felix Catton, who invites him to the Saltburn country house for the summer. Not only does Felix’s eccentric family await Oliver there, but also a summer that he will never forget. Saltburn maneuvers between sex, dark desire and modern gothic vibes – and stands out from the thriller genre.
