A devastating accident occurred in the area of San Roque, city of Curumaní, Cesar, when a tractor-trailer lost control due to failure of the brake system, hit another vehicle and claimed the life of a fried food seller who was work in the area.
The victim, named Miguel Ángel Morales, 38 years old, known as “Guaro“, was of Venezuelan nationality and died immediately due to the strong impact. The accident also caused extensive damage to a nearby home, as the tractor trailer landed on top of it.
Local authorities arrived at the site to investigate the circumstances of the accident and to establish responsibilities.
Units of the Cesar Traffic and Transport Police did a technical examination of the body and took it to a nearby town morgue where they did forensic work.
