The Salamanca City Council begins tomorrow to distribute the books acquired to the city’s bookstores

The consistory has acquired books worth 2,000 euros from each of the local bookstores that have joined this initiative, which have been Leomanía, Letras Corsarias, El Carmen, Nueva Plaza Universitaria, Librería Pablos, Melibea, Rivas, Villamayor 47, Yuste, Shrews, La Caraba, La Galatea, Víctor Jara, Los Robles, Campus, La Nave, La Latina, Castilla, Mundus Libri, Quercus, Ratio Legis, Shogun, Yuste, Crespo and Beneítez.

These books can be exchanged, until June 30, for the bonds that Salamancans have obtained for each purchase over 25 euros in those establishments incorporated into the municipal initiative.

The delivery points are the Liceo Theater and the municipal libraries of La Vega and Torrente Ballester. Specifically, the Lyceum will be open from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 2 pm; La Torrente Ballester from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, and from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays; and La Vega, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., from Monday to Friday.
