The Sage will soon arrive in Black Desert: Online

The Sage, the next class for MMORPG Black Desert, will be available on PC next Wednesday and playable on consoles from March 31st. Pearl Abyss has announced this through its press portal.

Whoever thinks of the Sage probably thinks of how this is portrayed in many RPGs. As a sort of mega-healer with some powerful offensive spells like Holy or Turn Undead. But this time the approach is completely different.

In Black Desert, the Sage is a magician who controls time and space through the mysterious Kyve. This allows him to move at lightning speed, even through obstacles, summon Ator’s Fist and launch a barrage of magical attacks. Moreover, as a Sage you can also enter the Hystria Ruins and Aakman Temple without a key.

“With this class we have tried to create a figure that lives up to the archetype of the Ancients and hope to attract the attention of North American and European adventurers,” said Jaehee Kim, Executive Producer for the Black Desert franchise at Pearl Abyss. “For the first time in Black Desert’s history, Sage will be released in North America and Europe for the first time.
