Is it safe to take Bluebeaf during pregnancy?
In this regard, Dr. Bahaa Naji, a clinical nutrition consultant, warned women against eating processed meat, especially bluebeef, during pregnancy, because of the harm it causes to the health of the mother and fetus.
Naji added that bluebeaf contains a high percentage of salts, which threatens the pregnant woman with high blood pressure and fluid retention in the body, leading to preeclampsia.
The clinical nutrition consultant explained that bluebeaf may expose pregnant women to weight gain, especially when consumed in large quantities, and the reason is due to its high calories.
He pointed out the danger of bluebeaf to the cardiovascular health of pregnant women, because it contains high levels of saturated fats, which lead to an increase in harmful cholesterol in the blood.

He stressed that weight gain resulting from excessive consumption of bluebeef makes pregnant women more vulnerable to:
– Pregnancy diabetes.
– Abortion.
– Premature birth.
Naji concluded his speech by pointing out the possibility that Blue Beef is contaminated with Listeria, a bacteria that is transmitted to processed meat due to poor storage, stressing that it increases the risk of stillbirth if a pregnant woman is infected with it.
