People’s Artist of Russia 73-year-old Valery Afanasiev has long won the public’s love and respect for his roles in film, where he regularly plays brave, calm and strong people.
The personal life of the artist was far from the calmest way. Valery Alekseevich has been married four times and left his second wife for a third, leaving them with his son. But even during his subsequent marriage to stage director Anna Afanasyev, he regularly violated marital vows: for example, he had a stormy romance with actress Maria Aronova.
However, the couple lived together for 40 years and raised two children. In 2015, Anna passed away, and only four years later, Valery secretly married actress Natalia Afanasyeva, who is four decades younger than her eminent husband.
The Russians did not at all approved of this behavior of the famous artist, criticizing his act.
“It would be better if she played her role in life as on screen .. Funny – 40 years of difference .. Grandfather and grandson”, “I will never believe in the love of young women for old grandparents”, – in their reactions they were very unequivocal.
