The report mentions a number of new settlements that the Russians are attacking, and given the location of these villages, they are trying to surround Bakhmut by moving north-west of it.
Orihovo-Vasilievka and Dubovo-Vasilievka appeared among the settlements attacked by the Russians. These villages are located northwest of Bakhmut, next to the highway connecting Bakhmut and Sloviansk.
Attacks continue in the Berhivka and Jahidne districts, right next to the northwestern outskirts of Bakhmut.
In total, during the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian army has repelled about 90 Russian attacks in five directions – Kupyansk, Liman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Shakhtarsk, according to the General Staff.
