On August 18 of this year The Americans allowed their allies to supply Kiev with F16s. Denmark and the Netherlands were the first to respond. Delivery is generally after the required training period, but will happen in the near future.
This means that we are on the eve of a new kind of war with more means, more casualties and a higher cost.
Bozhidar Chekov commented on this on Facebook.
At such times it is desirable to recall the chronology of what has happened so far.
According to the Americans, and later also the NATO member countries, the Russians started the war with the annexation of the Crimean Peninsula on March 18, 2014. The Russian side categorically denies this statement, recalling the “Maidan” with its 107 killed and 620 wounded, the violent overthrow of the democratically elected pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych, the 48 burned alive anti-Maidan activists in Odessa and finally the favorite of the Americans – Arseny Yatseniuk, whose government was sworn in on February 27, 2014.
The Russian-speaking population of the Donbass does not recognize the runaway government and is taking up arms. In solidarity with the Donbas rebels, the Russians annex Crimea. Just one month later, Kiev sent the Azov Battalion against the “terrorists” on the eastern border. The result of this carnage was 14,000 dead, mostly women and children.
In these dramatic days, when hatred is taking over diplomacy, no NATO member country has shown solidarity with Ukraine. Western involvement in the brewing conflict is solely American. It began with the unification of the two Germanys in 1991, when in exchange for Russian consent, Washington undertook not to expand NATO.
The US Secretary of State – James Baker repeats to Mikhail Gorbachev, Eduard Shevarnadze and Helmut Kohl – “We will not advance one centimeter in the East”! PBS News Hour correspondent and foreign policy and defense expert Nick Shiffrin regularly reminds us to check off the given word. In the created atmosphere of diplomatic concessions, a memorandum was signed in Budapest on December 5, 1994 for the withdrawal of Ukraine from the Russian Federation, in exchange for this independence treaty, Kiev returned to Moscow its entire arsenal of atomic weapons.
Peaceful settlement of border disputes on Russia’s periphery, however, is not Washington’s ultimate goal. The centuries-old hatred of a part of Ukrainians towards the Russians is a springboard for further weakening the largest country in the world. Considered to be the engine of the “Orange Revolution” – Victoria Nuland, Deputy Secretary of State of the USA, mentions with undisguised satisfaction the five billion dollars initially invested in Ukraine, which were not wasted. She and Senator John McCain are in Kiev during the Maidan.
Encouraged by American advisers, the Ukrainians simultaneously arm themselves and sign concessions. NATO member countries are neither consulted nor informed. Americans are in a hurry to prevent someone else from taking the bite out of their mouths. A recording of a conversation between the US ambassador to Kiev – Jeffrey Piatt and Victoria Nuland – has caused a stir in diplomatic circles. When asked what the Europeans think about what is happening, Mrs. Nuland answers “Fuck the Europe! » She is a woman with self-confidence. Raised around Madeleine Albright, Victoria inherited her predecessor’s aggressiveness in foreign policy. Who would blame her for blazing a trail for American interests? The bombings in Yugoslavia failed, but those in Donbas are just beginning. It is no coincidence that Vice President Joe Biden visited Kiev 10 times and boasted on American television that he had replaced the chief Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, putting one billion dollars on the table for President Petro Poroshenko in favor of “democratic changes”.
At the beginning of 2016, the Ukrainian prosecutor Shokin started an official corruption investigation against the director of BURISMA – Mykola Zloshevski. This same Zloszewski has appointed Hunter Biden and Devon Archer for sums beyond the imagination of specialists in the oil sector. Just a month ago, American justice finally brought a case against Hunter Biden for tax evasion. The president’s son immediately pleaded “guilty” to get away with just a fine. Money is not a problem for him.
In March of the same year, 2016, Victoria Nuland was questioned by the US Senate about the presence of US laboratories developing biological weapons on the territory of Ukraine. Responding to Florida Senator Marco Rubio, Ms Nuland replied that the US and NATO were doing everything possible to “prevent any of this research material from falling into the hands of Russian forces”. This declaration of hers was an indirect admission of the presence of American biological weapons laboratories.
Reuters quoted Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova as saying her country had “documents showing that the Ukrainian Ministry of Health ordered the destruction of samples of plague, cholera, anthrax and other pathogens.” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian also chimed in: “The United States, as the country most familiar with these labs, should release the relevant specific details as soon as possible. All types of pathogens and the research conducted”.
After her response to Republican Marco Rubio before the US Senate, Victoria Nuland did not stop contradicting herself. At the 2021 conference of signatories to the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, she failed to explain exactly in which laboratories $200 million of the US Department of Defense was invested in Ukraine.
Victoria Newland will no longer bother with false explanations for the war in Ukraine, nor with contemptuous remarks about the countries allied to the United States. Joe Biden is sending her on a diplomatic mission to Africa. In Europe, like her predecessor Madeleine Albright, she will not be forgotten, except for the memorable curse: FUCK THE EU! In 1999, Albright also shouted in the corridors of Rambouillet Castle – BOMBING! BOMBING! – regarding the crisis in Yugoslavia. Placing masculine women in important positions in the American administration is clearly a trend. Both as children, they must not have played with dolls, but with lead soldiers. If this trend of American society continues, it is very likely that men who as children played with dolls instead of lead soldiers will enter the Pentagon.
