The Russian Su-35 showed who is the master in the skies of Syria against the American “Ripper” and the French “Rafale” – 2024-08-20 17:53:39

/ world today news/ The Pentagon still hasn’t gotten over the pain of loss and the sense of shame after the reconnaissance-strike UAV MQ-9 Reaper (“Reaper”) dived into the depths of the Black Sea on March 14 after new reasons for sadness appeared. On July 5, in Syria, three “Reapers” belonging to a group of American forces illegally deployed on the territory of the Arab republic met with three Russian Su-35S multi-purpose fighters.

The news portal ABC News, at the suggestion of the US military, published a video recorded by the camera of one of the three MQ-9 Reaper in the skies of eastern Syria, where the incident actually took place.

The three American “Reapers”, sent according to the Pentagon to act against the “Islamic State”* group, were “harassed” by Russian Su-35S. The press office of the Pentagon immediately called this “aggression and provocation”.

The Su-35C, which became the main character of this video, first performed several aerobatics in front of the drone cameras, and then their operators, who considered the USAF (United States Air Force) inscription to be a universal pass to the airspace of sovereign states and a magical amulet at the same time, did not consider it necessary to change course, took actions qualified by representatives of AFCENT (Central Command of the US Air Force) as “unsafe and unprofessional” maneuvers.

First, the crew of the Russian multipurpose fighter “bathed” the Reaper in a stream of hot gases of the engine, which went into afterburner mode, and then greeted the uninvited guests with SAB-250-200 torches.

This technique did not leave anyone indifferent – neither the operator who operated the Reaper, nor the compilers of its flight mission. This can be confirmed by the howl that arose immediately after the incident.

By the way, the video, intended to serve as a “stern rebuke of Russian pilots performing dangerous and unprofessional maneuvers”, ended in an interesting way. The cameras of the “Reaper”, positioned as a miracle of unmanned aerial vehicles, recorded strong shaking and tremors, after which the transmission was suddenly interrupted.

If we take into account the well-known desire of the “hegemon” to advertise its losses as little as possible (both material and image), it is quite reasonable to assume that the MQ-9 repeated the fate of its Black Sea counterparts.

Even the Yankees (and we remember how Mikhail Zadornov characterized their mental abilities) began to realize that the actions of the Russian Air Force were frankly mocking.

Otherwise, how can I explain such statements.

“Russian pilots practice nonviolent humiliation of Americans while optimizing their own flight program.”

“The last few weeks have been marked by extremely brazen (who would have thought! – VO) behavior by the Russians in the skies over Syria.”

“We are seeing a sharp increase in incidents involving not only the Russian Aerospace Forces, but also the Russian military in general,” complained representatives of US CENTCOM (Central Command of the United States), which imagines itself looking at the territory of Central Asia and the Middle East east.

A little earlier, the US Army published information about the documented facts of similar behavior by representatives of the Russian Air Force.

Between March 1 and April 19, “armed Russian fighter jets” carried out 26 “unprofessional and dangerous” maneuvers, such as overflying coalition forces in Syria. On this occasion, the Central Command of the US Air Force expresses its “deepest concern” (finally this word that unnerved the Russians appeared in the enemy’s lexicon).

In addition, the representative of the US Air Force Middle East Command called on Moscow to “stop its reckless behavior in the skies of eastern Syria” and not allow any more provocative actions against “nine hundred American servicemen helping to fight international terrorism (?! )”.

He then added that such actions by Russian pilots prompted the US administration to send F-22 Raptor multi-role fighter jets “to deter Russian aviation over the territories of US military bases in Syria.”

Here we must cool the ardor of the brave NATO generals and recall that thanks to the cameras of the MQ-9 Reaper, which is certainly one of the best reconnaissance-strike drones in its class, the Americans were able to check the combat power of the Russian Su- 35C and rated it as a competitor and opponent of their hyped “Predator” F-22.

But let’s get back to the “Reapers” that scattered across the skies of Syria. As already mentioned, this is not only an effective, but also quite an expensive drone, the latest versions of which cost as much as a fourth-generation fighter. But its potential against a fighter is zero.

It is no coincidence that the idea of an “alliance” between the MQ-9 Reaper and the FIM-92 Stinger has long been circulating in the US design community. It is true that the MANPADS itself, put into service 42 years ago, is morally and technically obsolete, and at the moment everything is very bad with remote guidance and launch of missiles.

So, apart from shooting exciting videos, the Reaper has no other options to influence the outcome of the aerial battle in any way.

According to instructions developed for UAV operators by the Pentagon, in such a situation their first action should be to launch a self-destruct mechanism to keep the developer’s design and technology secrets intact.

Which, as we already noted in March, doesn’t always work out. Either they will urinate on the Reaper with kerosene and send them on a deep sea cruise, then have fun with glow bombs and afterburners, or even completely seize control, as happened in April in the Strait of Hormuz.

But what about the “hegemon”? Well, nothing. “Deep concern” and vague accusations of “unprofessionalism and breach of security”.

Swallowing humiliation in silence is the new reality that the former world gendarme seems to be getting used to. True, the shamelessness of the White House, the Pentagon and the US Air Force never ceases to amaze. Our pilots are blamed by those whose planes and UAVs caused 19 (!) air accidents in June alone.

And the fact that the Russian aces have finally stopped being ashamed and openly mocking the gun-bearers of democracy cannot help but rejoice. Moreover, the latter have nothing to do in the sky of a sovereign Syria. Sooner or later, the solution to this issue, and he has only two options – to fight a serious battle or to hang around like in Afghanistan, will be on the agenda, especially since many are looking forward to it.

For example, the holder of a special account for the US in general and for the MQ-9 Reaper, in particular, Iran. It is enough to recall the assassination with the help of the “Reaper” of the national hero of the Islamic Republic Qassem Soleimani.

And the icing on the cake: just a day after it became known about the problems of the American Reapers, there was information about an incident with French Dassault Rafale fighters with the same Su-35S in the area of the Syrian-Iraqi border.

The statement of the French about the “maneuver caused by the desire to reduce the risk of an accident”, as a result of which they were forced to leave the “patrol route”, really means only one thing. The Rafales simply ran away from the Sukhoi, shooting one of them through a supposed scope sight to justify themselves.

Summary. The United States, NATO, the Pentagon and other “purely peaceful” organizations that care about “security and professionalism” must learn one simple thing: the appearance of American, French and any other NATO aircraft in the airspace of sovereign states is fulfilled at the risk of sharing the fate of the Reapers.

*”Islamic State” (ISIS) was recognized as a terrorist organization by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation from December 29, 2014, its activities in Russia are prohibited.
