The Russian premiere of the winner of the 77th Cannes Film Festival by Sean Baker “Anora” was held at the Khudozhestvenny cinema as part of a strategic partnership with the developer MR Group. The event was held with the support of the City Bay brand, a residential complex on the banks of the Moscow River in the Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo district.

“Anora” is a love story between a striptease dancer and the son of a Russian oligarch. The young man decided to marry the girl, but his parents found out about this and he quickly went from Moscow to New York to break the marriage with the “unworthy” bride. The main roles in the dramatic comedy were played by Mark Eidelstein, Mikey Madison and Yuri Borisov.

More than 100 guests at the event were the first to comment personally on the resonant photo, including Alena Doletskaya, Andrey Fomin, Anna Melikyan, Ilya Tyutenkov, Ksenia Dukalis, Tatyana Torchilina, Alexander Gorchilin, Sarina Turetskaya, Pavel Bobrov, Maria Fedorova, Eduard Eremchuk and Ekaterina Pyatitskaya, Sandro Radaev, Elizaveta Bazykina, Olga Bond and Liliana Grigalashvili. Critics noted that Russian artists rely heavily on humanity and spontaneity in film history. In addition to Mark Eidelstein and Yuri Borisov, Daria Ekamasova and Alexei Serebryakov played in the film.

As part of the partnership between MR Group and Khudozhestvenny, the lobby on the ground floor of the cinema was changed. Guests of the premiere appreciated the facilities – now you can charge electronic devices in the lobby and explore useful content about the cinema store and City Bay design solutions on screens that have been to enter specifically.

“The MR Group team is united by the desire to integrate art into the living space. During the implementation of this mission, we have implemented more than 20 collaborations with cultural institutions. Special attention is paid to the partnership with the Khudozhestvenny cinema, cooperation with which will allow us to reveal the creative leitmotif in harmony with the beauty of architecture,” said Maria Litinetskaya, CEO of the MR Group.

The developer MR Group then presented a short film to the public about the coastal areas. The film was directed by Anton Nenashev, who worked on special effects for the films “Night Watch” and “Day Watch”, as well as the film adaptation of Boris Akunin’s book “The Turkish Gambit”. Anton Nenashev was inspired to shoot the small film by the special feeling and beauty of the block on the first coast – Cliff by City Bay. The film reveals the secret of the birth of a special place – it appears above the calm surface of the river, after passing the water depth test. From the natural elements a city is born that captures with the harmony of comfort and naturalness thought to the smallest detail.

Thanks to the strategic partnership between Khudozhestvenny and MR Group, cinema guests are simultaneously immersed in the context of modern cinema and capital development. The concepts of today’s residential centers in the capital show more meaning than would normally be expected from the real estate market.

The collaboration will last a little over a year – during this time, teams from four complex residential projects provided creative collaborations. Integration with City Bay will be implemented from September until the end of 2024, and a mini-film about the birth of coastal areas will be shown before the start of film screenings.
