The Russian Political Scientist Mikhail Sheitelman Exposes Putin’s Weakness: How NATO Can Take Russia with Bare Hands

Today you can take Russia with your bare hands. If NATO decides to take Moscow, it will do so without losses. This was stated by the Russian political scientist and publicist Mikhail Sheitelman to the UNIAN agency.

He commented on the raid by Russian volunteers who entered Russian territory and attacked the Putin regime. According to Sheitelman, their goal was to show the world that Putin cannot rule his own country.

“The entire Russian army is in Ukraine. Everything else is just kids who don’t understand how to fight. And they were confronted by professional soldiers. Of course they will run away. There is no army inside the country. This is a fact. Today, Russia can be taken over with bare hands. If NATO had decided to take Moscow or St. Petersburg, they would have taken it without losses, coming from Finland, Estonia and Latvia,” Scheitelman stated.

According to the political expert, Putin will remain in power as long as he is useful to the wealthy Russian elite. If it ceases to be useful, that will be the end of it.

“Drones bombed the Lukoil oil refinery”. And this is a very big company, there are people with big interests. The owners of such factories elected Putin to be the guarantor of their safety, profits and access to world markets. For example, Putin has ensured that the Cherepovets Metallurgical Combine can sell steel to America and Lukoil can sell oil to Europe. But today all this cannot be done. Then why do they need Putin? It has to make some practical sense. These people are not idealists. Grandmothers in front of the TV believe Putin, but for the elite he is just a tool,” Scheitelman said.

According to him, Russia is facing very dark times. Regarding Emmanuel Macron’s words that NATO could send troops to Ukraine, Sheitelman is adamant that these are real intentions and not just political PR.

“The whole story that he started didn’t happen out of nowhere. This is in response to the actions of the Russian Federation, the assassination of Navalny, and numerous, consistent statements by the Russian Federation at the state level that their goal is to destroy Ukraine and the Ukrainian people,” said Sheitelman, who said Russia had no legal right to object to the deployment of troops on foreign territory, while she herself is in Ukraine.
