Olympic silver medalist in boxing Muslim Gadzhimagomedov would be interested in a duel with Ukrainian world boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk. The Russian said this to RBC Sport.
“Of course, but I don’t think it’s necessary. We will first win fights, we will strive for this. We will slowly move towards such battles,” said Muslim Gadzhimagomedov.
Russian Olympic medalist defeats undefeated boxer
Gadzhimagomedov is the silver medalist of the 2020 Olympic Games, he has two victories in the professional ring.
Oleksandr Usyk is a multiple world champion in the heavyweight category according to the major boxing organizations WBA super, WBO, IBF and IBO. In 2018, he was recognized as the best boxer by The Ring. During his career, Usyk fought twenty fights in which he was never defeated.
