The Russian army has no chance of winning the counter-battery fight against the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian expert said.
The Russian army is not able to effectively resist the Ukrainian artillery and conduct a counter-battery fight comparable in strength, since it does not have modern artillery systems. This was told by Russian military expert Dmitry Kornev, who was forced to admit the truth, which is inconvenient for the Kremlin.
According to him, the artillery systems of the Ukrainian army are significantly superior in range to their Russian counterparts, firing the guns of the Russian Armed Forces from a decent distance. Ukraine has received state-of-the-art artillery from its Western allies, which is countered by old Soviet designs from the 1980s and even earlier.
While the Russian industry only promises the supply of modern systems, Russians are being shot at the front of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from a distance.
Moreover, Kornev admits that the Russians should not rely on China – the supply of modern weapons to Moscow is hardly possible.
