We recently told you that a study had come to the conclusion of what were the safest cities in the world and 4 of them were Spanish. Now, another study, this time carried out by the Preply platform, has found out which are the rudest cities in our country.
Preply has followed a very specific methodology, since it has interviewed to more than 1,500 residents of 19 geographical areas in Spain to ask them how often they come across rude behaviour. Among the questions, there were also how many tips they usually give or who they think is the most rude to them, if their neighbors or people from outside.
The experts analyzed the data and established a scale from 1 to 10 to classify the most polite and rude cities in Spain. In this way, the rudest city is the closest to 10 and the most educated is the closest to 1.
According to the study, The rudest city in Spain is Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Santa Cruz de Tenerife is known for its carnival, declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest and one of the most famous in the world. However, according to Preply, it is the rudest in Spain “because its inhabitants spend all day glued to the phone and for not giving way to other cars when there is a lot of traffic, among other reasons.”

On the other hand, of all the areas that participated in our study, the city of Vigo, the most populated in all of Galicia and the heart of the Rías Bajas, is lthe most educated city with a score of 5.17. Below these lines we leave you all the cities that have appeared in the results.
