A new history written by Egyptian artist Karim Abdel Aziz in terms of Egyptian cinema revenues throughout its history, after he managed to lead the scene again with his latest movie, “The Ruby House”.

The film, which co-stars Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, the Lebanese Nour and Tara Imad, is directed by Peter Mimi, and was shown in theaters during the last Eid Al-Fitr film season.

And he was able to achieve major successes, the last of which was topped by the list of the highest revenues in the history of Egyptian cinema, after it reached revenues amounting to 119 million and 800 thousand Egyptian pounds.

It is the revenues that made him exceed the movie “Kira Wal Jinn”, which also co-stars Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Ezz, and he was able to remain at the top of the revenues for months.

The film’s director, Peter Mimi, announced on his Facebook account the news, and what his film was able to achieve, after it became the highest revenue earner in history.

The movie “The Ruby’s House” still has the opportunity to widen the difference, in light of its continued showing in theaters and has not been removed from it until now, despite the presence of more than one new movie that was shown during the past weeks.
