The roundabout of the ‘San José’ Assisted Social Residence, through which some 6,000 vehicles pass, has been inaugurated

The new access roundabout to the Socio-sanitary complex of the ‘San José’ Assisted Social Residencein Toledo, will improve road safety and traffic in this area of ​​the CM-4001 road, which is used by around 6,000 vehicles a day.

The inauguration was also attended by the delegate of the Junta in Toledo, Alvaro Gutierrezwho was president of the Toledo Provincial Council from 2015 to 2023, and has highlighted the importance of this improvement at the entrance to the ‘San José’ Assisted Social Residence, a “section with a lot of traffic, through which 6,000 vehicles pass every day”, where a roundabout has been built that “will give peace of mind and security to thousands of people who live in the neighborhood of Azucaica or that transit towards Young man”.

It will also improve road safety for the “almost 500 people who work at the residence and for the relatives of the residents, who had demanded a solution to a problematic intersection.”

For this reason, he has expressed his satisfaction Government of Castile-La Mancha by inaugurating this roundabout, which provides a solution to a road safety problem and which “meets the demands made in this regard by workers and their families of this important residential and social-health complex”.

The project consisted of the construction of a new roundabout at the entrance to the ‘San José’ Assisted Social Residence and the centre of the roundabout has been moved to the left with respect to the axis of the road.
