The roof of the old Masson-Angers station collapses | News | The right

The building, built in 1877, was maintained by the Canadian Pacific railway company until it closed in 1983. The station was however named a heritage railway station in 1993, without the place being revitalized.

A passer-by alerted the emergency services after seeing the scene. The Gatineau Fire Department has opened an investigation to confirm the exact cause of the incident.

A security perimeter has been erected around the site.
