“I was fifteen and it lasted until I was twenty-two,” Anja recalls. Thanks to her father Václav Pleskot (†91), at that time the Czechoslovak ambassador to France, she was the head of a children’s summer camp in the land of the Gallic Rooster. “I helped the Olympic group with visas to France through an acquaintance. And they got a one-year engagement there. I was back in Prague so far,” Aňa describes why she broke up with the handsome guitarist.

From music to the court
Olympic guitarist Ladislav Klein left Olympic in 1972. He also played in the backing band Eva Pilarová (†80) and in George and Beathovens with Petr Novák (†51).
