Central Jakarta Metro Police raided loan office online (fintech) illegal at Ruko Sedayu Square, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, and secured 56 people at the location. Dozens of people are known to play a role in the field of marketing up to debt collection.
“The employees who were visited were 56 people. They were part of the loan offer and collection,” said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Hengki Haryadi in a statement received detik.com, Thursday (14/10/2021).
Several pieces of evidence were also confiscated by the police from the location. The items have now been secured at the Central Jakarta Metro Police.
56 Pinjol Employees Examined
Contacted separately, the Head of Criminal Investigation at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Wisnu Wardhana, said that his party was still investigating 56 people who had been arrested. Until now the police are still determining the suspect in the case.
“We want to find out first how many suspects are there. 56 are currently being investigated. Still being investigated, still being investigated,” said Vishnu.

Information collected detik.com, the raid was carried out by the Crime Unit Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim on Wednesday (13/10). This raid also followed up on the order of the National Police Chief as directed by President Jokowi to curb illegal loans.
The police then raided the loan office located at Ruko Sedayu Square Blok H.36 Cengkareng, West Jakarta. During the raid, the police found dozens of employees who were on the move.
