The Role and Missions of the SDJES: Implementing Youth, Commitment, and Sport Policies

The SDJES, a departmental service, ensures, under the hierarchical authority of the academic director of the departmental National Education services, the implementation of youth, commitment and sport policies.

Missions of the service: the SDJES leads, coordinates and implements State action in the areas of:

– development of sport for all

– developing youth engagement and information

– access for young people to leisure and educational and cultural practices

– support for community life

– development of employment and qualifications in the sports and entertainment professions

– protection of users: control of collective reception of minors, physical and sporting activity establishments and sports instructors

The Allier SDJES is made up of 10 agents: 1 youth and sports inspector, head of department, 2 sports teachers (PS), 4 popular education and youth advisors (CEPJ) and 3 administrative agents.
