/ world today news/ Many of the rock groups in Bulgaria are raising a counter-protest against the artists who are dissatisfied with the appointment of Slavi Binev as the chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Culture and Media.
The protest will take place through a Christmas-New Year’s concert. “This will be a kind of our signature in support of Mr. Binev”, revealed to PIK one of the main organizers of the concert – the frontman and producer of the group “BG Rock” Ivan Lazarov.
“I think we will gather a lot of bands. I will have talks with BTR, Signal and other big bands. I have worked with Slavi Binev, I know him very well. I think he will do his job perfectly. He is a good patron and great professional. When he says something, his word is not divided in two. In my opinion, the protests against him are completely unfounded,” the producer is categorical.
At the moment, the organization of the event is underway, as thousands of rock music fans are expected to attend this concert to support Slavi Binev.
