Big stars have different ways of entertaining their audience. At a concert there can often be confetti, fireworks and smoke.
Some, however, extend the concert experience a little more when they have to create a show, like the singer “Guns N’ Roses”, Axel Rose (60)who has a habit of throwing his microphone at the audience.
Appeared “naked” on stage
Apparently things don’t always go according to plan.
Last Thursday, during a concert at the Adelaide Oval in Australia, a fan who was present, Rebecca Howe, allegedly had the microphone in her face and injured herself.
According to The Guardian it is the Australian media that has put the spotlight on Howe and the injuries he suffered from the microphone throw.
After Rose realized his stunt had hurt a fan, he took to Twitter to apologize and to say the band is taking action.
“I have been informed that a fan may have been injured during our show in Adelaide, Australia and may have been hit by the mic at the end of the show when I traditionally throw the mic to fans,” the rock star said in the post. .
– He was bleeding profusely and suffered a concussion
Also, he writes that they obviously don’t want to hurt anyone. It is also pointed out that they have done this at the end of their concerts for over 30 years and that they believed the fans wanted and knew about it and saw it as an opportunity to take the mic.
“Regardless, for reasons of public safety, we will now refrain from throwing the microphone or anything else at fans during our concerts,” Rose writes.
“Unfortunately, there are those, for reasons of their own, who have chosen to report on this matter in a more negative and irresponsible light, out of nowhere, which couldn’t be further from the truth. We hope the general public and of course fans understand which sometimes happens,” the vocalist concludes.
Reactions hail after this
– He could have killed me
According to Sky News Howe received two bruises and several cuts on his nose.
– He bowed and then threw the mic into the crowd… and slammed me, right on the bridge of my nose, the woman said according to Sky News.
Howe also says the blood was flowing.
– If my head had twisted and hit me on the temple, he could have killed me, he is also said to have said.
The injured woman was also shocked by the way others present behaved, there must have been a lot of jostling as many wanted to take the microphone for Odel and possess it, despite her being there injured.
