The Roads and Traffic Agency will start work on the Het Zuid exit on February 5. There has been a problem with the stability of a section of railway bridge on the exit ramp for some time. A tonnage restriction was introduced almost a year ago to avoid heavy freight traffic at that location and a lane has also been closed since mid-November to limit the pressure on the bridge. From February 5, the AWV will build a new bypass to the left of the current road that will no longer cross the bridge.
