The return home of Russian citizens who were involved in the war in Ukraine has led to the beginning of a new wave of particularly serious crimes. These crimes are mainly committed by ex-convicts previously recruited for the war, but ordinary soldiers, who until very recently, very likely killed in Ukraine, also become murderers of civilians.
