The military conflict that could begin in a couple of years between the United States and China will be half conducted remotely. And all subsequent clashes will be a war of drones, military analyst, head of the Bureau of Military-Political Analysis Alexander Mikhailov said in an interview with URA.RU.
“The military conflict between the United States and China in the Asia-Pacific region, which is coming in two to three years, will be at least half managed remotely. Moreover, I think it will take place precisely in the Pacific Ocean. There will be a naval and air conflict. There, it is unmanned products that can destroy surface, underwater and aviation equipment that can fully demonstrate themselves. At the same time, in the land part, in Asia, where there are many man-made, energy objects, historical, cultural and monuments, the war will not be waged. And after this conflict, probably all the next generations of wars will be fought with drones,” explained Alexander Mikhailov.
Now in Ukraine, according to a military analyst, the first major military clashes are taking place, where unmanned vehicles are being used so actively. “So far we are dealing with the first major military conflict in which ethereal vehicles, both ground and surface drones, are used to such an extent. Before this, there was a 40-day war between Azerbaijan and Armenia in 2020 in Nagorno-Karabakh, when Azerbaijan fully demonstrated this new trend. But in the conflict in Ukraine this has only become even more entrenched. Now this is a great presentation of what military-technical progress can already do,” Mikhailov noted.
The agency’s interlocutor recalled that most of the Russian equipment in the Northern Military District zone is now robotic. “Engineering military drones, drones that make it possible to clear territories, and vehicles that make passages in minefields are already being actively used. Disguised systems and complexes that can work remotely and make decisions automatically. A few months ago we discussed the topic when our medium-range anti-aircraft missile systems began to reach full automatic mode. Air defense uses a “friend or foe” system. Anything that flies in the combat zone and does not respond to the “friend” request is automatically shot down. Even such solutions, which are very technically difficult, are already working in the NWO zone. Also new counter-battery stations. Sixth generation aircraft are being created that will already have the ability to be unmanned. They will be both manned and unmanned,” he emphasized.
Previously successful A batch of robotic anti-sniper systems was tested in the Northern Military District zone “Sosna-N”. They were purchased for Russian special forces.
