Natalia Drozhzhina
The name of 74-year-old Natalia Drozhzhina is heard today only in connection with the scandal surrounding the inheritance of the public’s favorite Alexei Batalov. Natalia Georgievna was convicted as a swindler who took advantage of the gullibility of the widow of the late actor Gitana Arkadyevna and his disabled daughter Maria. Before that, Drozhzhina could often be seen in documentaries dedicated to famous artists. She herself, being an actress by profession, could not achieve anything intelligible in her.
Star hour, which was not
Natalia was born in the city of Balta, Odessa region. Childhood was post-war, but the parents found the opportunity to enroll their daughter in a music school and a drama club. Drozhzhina’s dream to shine on stage or in the cinema arose very early.
The pretty niece was fully supported by her ballerina aunt. On her advice, to study as an actress, Natalia went not just anywhere, but to Moscow. Managed to enter the theater school. Schukin. As a student, she flashed in the wonderful film by Georgy Natanson “Big Sister”. It just flashed – Drozhzhina was not even indicated in the credits.
However, just a couple of years later, director Larisa Shepitko was already filming Natalia in the title role. In 1968, Drozhzhina played the Mermaid in the musical fairy tale “At the thirteenth hour of the night.” The partners of the aspiring artist were real stars, who, however, drew attention to themselves – Zinovy Gerdt, Anatoly Papanov, Georgy Vitsin and others. And the picture did not have a resounding success.
But Natalia Georgievna in the same year could really become famous. Everything was overshadowed by a rash decision.
“Mom was horrified”
“You are crazy!” cried Natalia’s mother when she heard what she was up to. It would seem that we should rejoice. The young actress just got an incredible chance – to work with Leonid Gaidai himself. He was just about to start filming The Diamond Arm. Only now the role of Drozhzhina was offered – too much. The same Anna Sergeevna, who lures Gorbunkov to the hotel.

In the 1990s, Natalia Georgievna practically gave up on cinema. Only once after she went to the set – in 2011. She played a small role in “Keeped by Fate” by Valentina Pimanova – a film from the life of stage veterans.
Drozhzhina tried to earn money as a film dubbing actress. Her voice sounds in the once super popular series “Slave Izaura” in our country. She worked at the University of Culture at the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
She did charity work. She agreed to take part in TV programs and documentaries dedicated to the stars of Russian cinema. Talk about someone else’s success.
But the marriage of Drozhzhina for a long time was considered very successful by those around her. Natalia failed to realize herself as a mother. However, despite her childlessness, lawyer Mikhail Tsivin has been by her side since the early 1980s.
The wedding was played in 1982. With his characteristic irony, Mikhail Semenovich said that he was a groom, probably not the most enviable, but not poor either: he already owned a Zhiguli and a one-room apartment at that time.
Before Tsivin, Drozhzhina experienced a dramatic romance with a Polish diplomat. Long-term relationship ended in nothing.
Natalia repeatedly said about her husband: “I still love Misha, like on the first day. Sometimes I look at him and understand that fate has presented me with a huge gift. It is he who is ready to support me in some difficult period, will take pity on me if I need it so much.
The court decided to give Tsivin a real, and Drozhzhina suspended sentence. Natalia Georgievna repeatedly complained about her health. A number of journalists noted that she stopped wearing a wedding ring. According to the media, Drozhzhina is now not eager to communicate with her husband, who was primarily responsible for legal issues.
